Megaman Powered Up Owners

Well i got this game yesterday and love it.

The thing i like most about it is its Map Editor. I wish to make some maps using this program. You can send the maps you make online and other people can download them. After they play the map and defeat the boss, You can give the game a rating from scales of


Difficulty:1-5(Easy-Hard)
Uniqueness:1-5(Not very-Very)
Size:1-5(Small-Big)
Overall:1-5(Not so great-Pretty good)

After you give it a rating, it saves it in the game untill you connect online again. Once you do, it tells you if you wish to send them online so they can be rated. This way people know if your games are good or are a waste of time.

So i ask this, I want to know who HAS Megaman Powered up and downloads and/or makes maps.

This way, We can search for your games using "ID search" and then download them and talk about them here.

can you actually make your own bosses?

also where do you upload them? capcom has a service? if so wouldnt it cost them alot of abndwith once alot of maps start coming in?

by the way, ill prolly get this in 6 months or so after I beat all the homebrew megamans.

psp has so much potential with the games coming out with map makers/level editors like griptshift and megaman, as well as the ps1 emulator, flash, homebrew, many good games like ghosts and ghouls, mobies, music, etc.

Nono, you don't make your own boss. You just choose which boss out of the ones in the game you want to use in your own level. But the level is yours to create however you want.

And yes, When you go to "construction", it connects online and then brings you to 3 options.

When you go to download, A big list comes out new maps.(recently made maps). The more we rate the maps when we finish them, the more we can see their ratings.

Overall its DAMN fun. The game JUST came out and some maps are good. I can't wait untill people put alot of potential in them :)

This game is fcking badass to the max. Easily the best game on the PSP! It's awesome I love it!

Ok think of this.

The map contains a 8 by 14 sqaures.

Each of those squares contain, another 8 by 14 square tile set.

Megaman Takes 2 sqaures vertically. Of the 2nd set of tiles.

how long does it take to make a good one?

A good one? I don't know to tell you the truth. I started this one yesterday and im about to finish. I think me about 5-6 straight hours(Testing and building the map) Im not saying mine is GOOD."The ratings and people will tell all when i upload it.

I just finished it and im looking for a way to send it online. I have no Router next to me at the moment so i can't upload it from the PSP :( Maybe there is an online way? :)

Arg, i can't find anyone around my town with a connection.

I have a connection to around 55% and it would still not connect!(even with no Security)

Blarg..I need to find another way to send my map. I want it rated and see if im any good at making maps :)

to make your own maps, do you accually have to go online with a wireless connection, or can you make it offline?

You can make maps offline. You can send them to your friends PSP.

The online mode is just there so you can let others around the world play them or you can download others.

Its an awsome addition.

before I get this, I was wondering if it is possible for people to download their stages to the computer and put it on the internet ---for those of us without a wifi connection

Nope it has to be directly from the PSP.

it works on 1.5 with wifi. i've tried.

You have to have some kind of router by you to connect online and download maps. I think the ONLY way to upload maps is by connecting online. Maybe you can download the files to your computer then transfer them over, but i have not tryed yet.

Btw, come on who has gotten it..its the god of all megaman games..Its even better than Maverick Hunter...=]

Yes it does work on 1.50 correctly.
But no multiplayer/online so you can't get the maps.

Sigh, No one is ever going to get this game AND have 2.6 =[

downloading your level in about 2 minutes!

Check out where the levels are placed on the memory stick so maybe those who can't download could still try it out. =)

playing now... already found a glitch =P

if you use the oil to break the block and use oil sllide again in the same place, you are stuck. can't die, can't get off the oil board. i would suggest creating a hard block behind that breadable one so you'll always get off the board.

nice idea with the oil to begin with ;-)

i'm now checking out where they are on the mem stick now.

I'm 99% sure it's in the PSP/SAVEGAME folder. I uploaded it to yousendit.

extract that to X:/PSP/SAVEGAME (where X is the drive letter of your PSP) and go into contruction mode. then click Play and see if it is on there.

Powered Up is kind of a children's version of the Megaman series. Everything is basically in chibi-mode. Even the voices are childrens voices.

Yes, it is childish in a way, BUT:

it has a level editor and longer gameplay. if you prefer the megaman x series to the originals, then go with X. if you prefer the originals, go with this one! it even has the originals built in!

Meh I upgraded and I love this I didn't have a chance to download your level I will tommorow though.
